Today marks one year since the release of the first trailer for Inside the Stargate, launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original film.
Since then, the community around the documentary has continued to grow and I want to sincerely thank you for your ongoing support.
Current Progress
The past few months have been relatively quiet on the editing side, though I’ve continued working on graphics and visual elements.
In the meantime, I’ve continued reaching out to people who worked on the film, either to interview them or to collect photos, documents, and other behind-the-scenes materials.
I also made initial contact with Centropolis Entertainment, Roland Emmerich’s production company, and the team expressed interest in the project. I’m very grateful for their encouragement.
At this stage, however, without a clear distribution plan, they can’t move forward yet. But it’s still a positive first step!
In parallel, I reached out to several studios in search of production support. Though I haven’t received any responses so far.

There’s still some good news:
I’ve uncovered some rare video archives, unseen since 1994 and offering a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse of the film.

As is often the case, access to these materials comes at a cost (licensing fees are significant), but I plan to finance them gradually to include them in the project.
